He was a great track announcer at Santa Fe Speedway. While Jan is best known for the US 30 Dragstrip commercials. He also voiced and/apperaed in many. One of my favorites was when he bellowed out the line: "What do you get from thousands of wrecked cars?" ....."millions of hard to find auto parts!" I really loved Jan Gabriel’s style and enthusiasm.
